Thanks for sharing this Robert! As I have mentioned elsewhere, I am really excited about this! Smile

Is the 4e book and the living campaign in the same time frame? 1299?

That is my understanding from what Robert has posted elsewhere at least Smile

I have collected some speculations on Age of the Wolf over here:

Well, I checked out the piazza postings.. I don't need another forum account I'll rarely check. :p

So... What material will be required for Age of the Wolf? The Blackmoor First Campaign (Black Album) since all the core mechanics of 4e are in that book (reprinting them would be silly and a waste of everyone's time).

Future products will rely on these 2 core books - Mechanics from Black Album, Flavor (and more mechanics) from AotW.

Same thing applies to canon material and MMRPG material... Albeit the MMRPG will divert slightly in places from canon... that simply can't be helped due to the nature of a living style campaign.

Thanks for paying the site a visit! I have been with it from the start, so I feel a sense of ownership about it (plus I am one of the mods there too). I was pretty happy when Blackmoor got a forum of its own there, particularly since Blackmoor fans seem to be scattered all over the web.

Any updates on the status of Blackmoor 4e or the license agreement with WotC ?

Blackmoor as 4th ed... I am not really sure how I feel about this. It is needed for the survival of the setting but as somebody who has a16th level LFR character I really do not feel 4th ed will capture the feel I got from playing Blackmoor 3.5.

I kinda feel like Pathfinder would have been a better move.

Also it's good to be back and I'll probably play the hell out of the new Blackmoor, may the old always have a special place in my heart.

Also I need to find a way to remake Rotfoot faithfully close to the original.

Welcome back Spikey! Have you checked out the Comeback Inn forum yet?

http://blackmoor.mystara.us/forums/index.php

I think the lisence from WotC made Pathfinder Blackmoor impossible for ZG/CMP to do. Of course, there's noone saying you can't do that for your home campaign Smile

Unfortunately, the 4E Blackmoor Sourcebook was the last official product of the Blackmoor line. Sad

Screw that, we have a 4th edition campaign to run. No reason why we can't make some new classes and stuff with coordinators approval. I refuse to let it die just because there are no more new source books.
